Books from Around The World

World Book Day celebrated!
It has been another busy week across the Federation, topped off by the fact that on Wednesday both schools celebrated World Book Day with many dressing up in pyjamas or in costumes to depict their children's favourite book characters, such as Matilda, Willy Wonka and a variety of superheroes. Everyone looked amazing.
A quartet of staff attended some really valuable training on Thursday and Friday and this has certainly given me, as Headteacher, a new focus for some important monitoring, which will provide some extremely useful evidence in our drive for continuous improvement.
We welcomed Mrs. Susan Perry to our school this week for the first time, as she agreed to take over from Mrs. Morris, who sadly was not able to continue with her placement in Bumblebees class. I have every faith she will get to know the children swiftly building those positive relationships with each member of the class.
Have a great weekend everyone.
