Red Nose Day!
Some comic relief to end a lovely week!
Jokes were all around today as we finished the week in the sunshine on Red Nose Day, raising money for the Comic Relief cause. We have shared a QR code to enable people to donate more conveniently to the charity rather than handing in £1 to the school. This is also our preferred option. The children all looked great with their classic red noses and red outfits, (even if some were wearing Manchester United shirts!).
This week I have been popping into classes to observe how our children interact with one another and in doing so help staff pick up on any little traits that will help all of us support the children even more. There is no harm in looking to build on the special job everyone already does.
On Thursday, many of our children went over with several of the Junior children to take part in the Norfolk County Music Festival at the King's Centre in Norwich. Here, they sang two songs prepared and rehearsed with Mrs. White-Joubert and I have to say they performed these superbly in front of five other schools and a large gathering of spectators. Most of whom were Ormesby fans, as there was a huge cheer when we were introduced but also an even bigger one when we had finished singing. Thank you to all our staff and helpers, thank you to Mrs. White-Joubert and thank you to all our families who came to support the school. A great day out!
Next week, we have our Infant Curriculum Celebration Event on Wednesday 26th March at 2:15pm and we have our non-uniform (sports' clothing) day for an Easter egg donation on Friday 28th March. This day is also our virtual lacrosse competition with Premier Sports, which is why we have asked for all children to be in sports clothing.
Have a great weekend everyone.
