Ladybirds

Taking our learning outside.

Making the most of the dry and sunny weather, the Ladybirds demonstrated their understanding of the maths lesson. We have been thinking about place value in maths this week. The children showed how they are able to both read and write two digit numbers using various maths equipment in the classroom. So, to add another layer of learning to the task, we went outside to use natural materials to record two digit numbers. Working with a partner, the children were excited to find sticks, stones, grass cuttings and other materials to create their chosen numbers. Well done Ladybirds, you are all great mathmagicians!
