Summer Term is Here!

Welcome Back Everyone!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break with family and friends and have returned fresh and raring to go for the final term of this academic year. It has been pleasing to see the children have remained so eager and enthusiastic and are always looking forward to what is on offer.

Already, learning has seen classes receive teaching on the royal family and their significance to the United Kingdom and the rest of the world. We have seen children enjoying their learning outside, now the weather has improved and we have seen how important growing our own vegetables are with our potato plots and strawberry plants. Hopefully, we can benefit from some produce in the coming weeks.

The hard work of the staff continues to prepare our children to become the best readers they possibly can be and to sustain a lifelong passion for reading. Alongside, our Phonics sessions we are preparing the relevant children for their Phonics Screening Check for the Year 1 children and some of the Year 2 pupils who narrowly missed out on the required threshold last year.

Next week, we will be continuing with our learning and looking forward to our VE day celebrations.

Have a relaxing weekend everyone!
