Wow! A Secret Garden!
Mental Health, Classic Production and Harvest Preparations are in full swing!
Our week began commemorating Mental Health Awareness Day and pupils created worry dolls to help them offload their worries to. Again, this was another inventive and imaginative activity. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you to Mrs.McNulty and the School Council for organising this.
On Wednesday, the whole school enjoyed watching the Secret Garden performed by M&M Productions. They really were a great team and all our pupils sat for an hour entertained by this show. We have booked next year for a version of the Jungle Book. I do hope they include a staff dance-off next time, because I have two energetic members of staff who would excel at this. I will put your name down Mrs. Howell and Mrs. Mangili.
Thank you for all the lovely donations for our Harvest Festival at St. Margaret's Church next week. I am sure Rev. Jo will be over the moon with everyone's generosity. These offerings were everywhere around the school. It will take me ages to pack my car with these. Alongside this, the pupils have been practising Harvest songs and they sound amazing. Very uplifting and you cannot help but hum the tunes throughout the day when you get them in your head.
Next week, we have our Parent-Teacher meetings where I hope you will be pleased with what staff have to say about your children and the pupils have their disco to look forward to on Wednesday. Tuck is included in the £3.50 fee payable on the door. Thank you DJ Kev for providing the entertainment once again.
Have a great weekend everyone.
